Tamacun is a song featured on the album of the Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela and has first appeared as music for tv series, before gaining huge popularity. The meaning of the title comes from the name of a fictional character, an adventurer.
 
PERFORMANCE HINTS
The rhythm in the percussion part is written as a guidance, feel free to improvise and add other players/instruments: cajon, cow bell, congas etc. Marimba parts can be multiplied as well - the number of players can vary from quartet to big percussion ensemble.
